Pricing & Payment Options
How much does a full-grain vegetable-tanned leather handbag cost?
Prices start at $550 for smaller silhouettes. Medium and larger sizes vary depending on specific dimensions and custom configurations. Complimentary UPS shipping is included on orders within the United States.
Do you offer payment plans?
You can choose the option that works best for you:
- Pay in Full: Complete your purchase securely at checkout.
- 50% Deposit: Place an order over the phone, pay half upfront, and the balance prior to shipping.
- Shop Pay Installments: Split your purchase into manageable interest-free installments at checkout.
Materials & Craftsmanship
What type of leather do you use?
Full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather: We use only the highest grade of unaltered leather, naturally tanned with organic plant tannins. It is exceptionally durable and develops a rich patina over time.
Premium Suede Lining: Every interior is lined with velvety suede for a refined structure and tactile finish.
Solid Brass Hardware: Our hardware is solid brass, engineered for structural durability and lasting performance.
Who makes the bags?
Each handbag is architecturally designed and handcrafted by designer Danielle Royal in our Georgia studio. Maintaining direct control over structural drafting and fabrication ensures every piece meets strict standards for longevity and finish.
Design Protection & Originality
Are your handbag designs protected?
Yes. All custom handbag designs created and sold by Danielle Royal LLC are protected under a pending United States patent application. Our designs are original, proprietary, and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written authorization.
Fit & Everyday Use
Will my phone or laptop fit?
Dimensions for each bag are listed on its individual product page. If you are unsure about your device, contact customer support to confirm sizing compatibility.
Are the straps comfortable to wear?
Yes. Whether you carry a crossbody design or a shoulder silhouette, each strap is engineered to distribute weight evenly for comfortable daily wear. Removable and interchangeable straps allow you to adjust styling and functionality with ease.
How do I use the Fit Tool when customizing my bag?

How does the customization process work, and what options can I personalize?
We craft each made-to-order piece through a straightforward 3-step configuration process directly on the product page:
- Select Your Silhouette & Size: Choose from our signature architectural designs in small, medium, or large.
- Pick Your Palette & Hardware: Select your preferred colors from our hand-painted palette and choose your solid brass hardware finish.
- Configure Your Straps & Details: Personalize your configuration of removable straps and handles or request additional interior pockets.

How do I place an order?
Choose the method that works best for you: direct online checkout, phone order at (678) 310-4888, or by scheduling a virtual appointment.
How will I know my order is confirmed?
You will receive an initial email notification upon placing your order. Once order details and payment are verified (1–3 business days), a formal confirmation email will follow.
Can I request a custom size?
Yes, custom sizes are available. A $250 non-refundable deposit is required. Custom-dimension sizes are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does production take?
Each bag is handmade to order in full-grain vegetable-tanned leather. Please allow 2–6 weeks for your handbag to be crafted and prepped for delivery. This timeframe includes domestic transit.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, we offer complimentary UPS shipping within the United States. To ensure your order arrives securely, a Signature is Required upon delivery.
Do you ship internationally?
No. We ship exclusively to addresses within the United States.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
For hand-painted designs with custom colors, there is a 14-day return window from the date of delivery, provided the handbag is unused and in its original condition.
What items are Final Sale?
Handbags crafted in custom-requested dimensions or featuring personalized monogramming are Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
What if my handbag is damaged?
If your handbag arrives damaged or with structural defects, we will repair or replace it at no charge. Contact customer support with your order number and clear photos of the issue.
